Lotte World Seoul Guide 2026: Tickets & Discounts, Magic Pass, Hours, Aquarium & Seoul Sky

Past private-hire notice: The earlier general-admission restriction concerned October 16, 2026. Check the official calendar separately for admission, opening hours and shows on your actual visit date.
Choose the Seoul park, aquarium or Seoul Sky first: the names refer to different attractions and ticket entitlements. Compare the same date and admission scope before treating a discount or combination ticket as a saving.
What Lotte World actually is
Lotte World is really five things on one block in Jamsil, east Seoul. Lotte World Adventure (1989) is the glass-domed indoor park with the Spanish-galleon ride, the French Revolution coaster and the daily parade; Magic Island is the outdoor half on Seokchon Lake, with the castle, the Gyro drop and the lake views that make the whole complex photograph like a European postcard. Next door: the Lotte World Mall, the Aquarium in its basement, and Lotte World Tower, whose Seoul Sky observatory on floors 117–123 is the highest in Korea at over 500 meters. The lake path around it is free and, in early April, the cherry-blossom walk locals actually use.
Tickets: compare the same admission scope
Compare the same ticket type before judging a discount. The standard adult all-access ticket, including the Folk Museum, is 67,000 won for one day or 55,000 won after 16:00. The park-only adult ticket is 64,000 won for one day or 52,000 won after 16:00. Aquarium and Seoul Sky admission are separate unless the exact product explicitly includes them. Card and membership promotions have eligibility conditions; a headline discount is not available to every visitor. Magic Pass Premium is a separate limited product and does not promise zero waiting. Choose rides by the group's height and health restrictions, then compare the date's official offer and cancellation conditions. A quieter evening is possible but a queue shorter than 20 minutes is not guaranteed.
Standard adult admission starts at 19, youth covers 13–18 and child admission 36 months–12 years. Visitors 65+ pay the child list price; bring age evidence. Ages 12–under 36 months normally enter free but need a baby ticket for infant rides (group exceptions apply). Park-only tickets do not qualify for ordinary discounts; only specified special concessions apply. Compare this with a discounted ticket that includes the Folk Museum.

Before buying: cancellation rules and meals outside the park
The official Lotte World FAQ says unused All-Access Passes bought through its official website or app are automatically cancelled the following day with a full refund. Card authorisation cancellation normally takes 3–7 business days depending on the issuer. Do not extend this rule to agency tickets, other sellers or separate attractions; save the seller, ticket type, visit date and cancellation deadline.
Magic Pass has different cancellation conditions. The official FAQ specifies a 100% cancellation penalty from two hours after a same-day purchase. Changing the quantity of an advance Premium purchase requires cancellation and repurchase; replacement stock is not guaranteed. Check your intended rides, closures and your party’s eligibility before buying.
Eat at the mall before entry or after finishing the park
Adventure normally does not allow re-entry after leaving. The official FAQ lists exceptions for the ice rink; Jeojageori and the Folk Museum via the Adventure 3F Folk Museum gate; and visiting an outside medical facility following an infirmary nurse’s assessment. Do not treat a normal mall meal or a Songnidan-gil café as an exception. Even when an exception applies, ask staff about the procedure before exiting.
Plan photographs and clothing changes
The official park guide prohibits professional equipment such as large tripods and drones. Avoid changing in toilets in a way that disrupts other guests; check the listed coordination room on B1 of Fly Venture. Refrain from phone and selfie-stick use on rides; take photos where permitted. Our free travel help provides more booking and extra-charge phrases.
Places to consider along your route
Choose the stops that fit your time and interests. This is an editorial selection, not a measured ranking of local visits.
- Magic Island castle (매직아일랜드) — the outdoor half on Seokchon Lake — go after dark when it is lit; the castle terrace is the photo.
- Atlantis Adventure (아틀란티스) — Check height and health restrictions, closure notices and the current queue before choosing this ride; a paid priority product is optional.
- French Revolution (후렌치레볼루션) — Check height and health restrictions, closure notices and the current queue before choosing this ride; a paid priority product is optional.
- The Adventure parade (퍼레이드) — Check the day's parade schedule and use a permitted public viewing area. Keep entrances clear and remain behind barriers.
- Folk Museum (민속박물관) — Included in the all-access ticket, not the park-only ticket. The official price page gives a Folk Museum admission cutoff of 18:00.
- Seoul Sky (서울스카이) — A separately ticketed observatory on floors 117–123. Check weather, last admission and product inclusions if views or the glass floor are your priority.
- Lotte World Aquarium (아쿠아리움) — A separately ticketed attraction in the mall. Check whether a real combined product is available and what it includes, then compare with buying separately.
- Seokchon Lake loop (석촌호수) — Choose an east- or west-lake section and set your start and finish. Cherry-blossom timing varies annually; early April is not guaranteed. Check recent photos and access restrictions.
- Lotte World Mall food hall (롯데월드몰 지하) — Plan this meal before entering or after finishing the park, not as an ordinary exit-and-return break. Check the restaurant’s hours and your onward route.
- Songnidan-gil (송리단길) — A café area east of the lake. Make it a separate outing after leaving the park and check the route and hours of your chosen café.
Getting there & manners
| Getting in | Jamsil Station on Lines 2 and 8 serves the area. Save the exact entrance for Adventure, the aquarium or Seoul Sky; these are separate destinations within the complex. For an airport trip, use the actual terminal and time to choose a train or bus, including transfers and the indoor walk. |
|---|---|
| Hours & tickets | Standard adult tickets: all-access with Folk Museum 67,000 won / after 16:00 55,000 won; park-only 64,000 won / after 16:00 52,000 won. Compare date-specific promotions only after matching the ticket type. Check the operating calendar for that date. |
| Best time | Check the official hours, performances and ride closures for your date first. Opening time or evenings do not guarantee short queues. After 4 means admission from 16:00; align your arrival with the actual parade schedule if that is your priority. Check the Folk Museum, Aquarium and Seoul Sky admission cutoffs separately. |
| Pair with | Add a Seokchon Lake walk or a mall meal if time allows. Reserve separate admission and visiting time for Seoul Sky; plan the journey to your chosen Olympic Park entrance separately. |
Since 3 April 2026, Magic Pass products all cover five uses: Light ₩54,000, Standard A/B ₩65,000 each, Premium ₩80,000; the seven-use ticket was discontinued. Eligible rides differ by tier. Advance sales are Premium only, from 00:00 two days before visiting to 23:59 the previous day; same-day sales for all tiers start at 08:30. Supply is limited. Closed rides, closed queues and excluded attractions such as Strange Nightmare cannot be used with the pass.
Check before you pay
Questions for planning this visit, not allegations against any business.
- Check the facilities, date, age band, re-entry and separately sold experiences or priority access. Before paying, verify whether a QR needs exchanging, the collection deadline and identification requirements.
- Match the seller, venue address, date, party size, cancellation deadline and time zone on the confirmation. Save change/cancellation refund conditions and who handles them; an application receipt is not a confirmed booking.

Quick answers
How much are Lotte World tickets and how do I get them cheaper?
Compare the same ticket type before judging a discount. The standard adult all-access ticket, including the Folk Museum, is 67,000 won for one day or 55,000 won after 16:00. The park-only adult ticket is 64,000 won for one day or 52,000 won after 16:00. Aquarium and Seoul Sky admission are separate unless the exact product explicitly includes them. What is the difference between Lotte World, Lotte World Tower and Lotte World Mall?
Adventure and Magic Island form the theme park. Seoul Sky in Lotte World Tower and the mall’s Aquarium are separate attractions. Start from Jamsil Station on Lines 2/8 and follow signs to the actual entrance you need; do not assign exit 4 as a single entrance for every attraction.
Is Lotte World Adventure indoors? What about rain?
Yes — Adventure is fully indoors under a glass dome, which is why it is Seoul's default rainy-day and winter plan. Only Magic Island on the lake is outdoors, and it may close its rides in heavy rain or high wind while the indoor park keeps running.
What are Lotte World's opening hours?
Check the official hours, performances and ride closures for your date first. Opening time or evenings do not guarantee short queues. After 4 means admission from 16:00; align your arrival with the actual parade schedule if that is your priority. Check the Folk Museum, Aquarium and Seoul Sky admission cutoffs separately.
Is the Lotte World in Busan the same as the one in Seoul?
Busan and Seoul are separate parks with different tickets, operating schedules and events. Check that your purchase is for Seoul/Jamsil. Do not apply one park’s Halloween end date to the other.
Can I leave Lotte World for a mall meal and return?
Normally no. Official exceptions cover the ice rink, Jeojageori/Folk Museum via the designated gate and an outside medical visit following infirmary assessment. Do not count an ordinary mall meal as an exception; eat before entry or after finishing the park.
Do unused admission tickets and Magic Pass have the same refund rules?
No. Official-site/app unused All-Access Passes are listed as automatically cancelled the next day with a full refund. Same-day Magic Pass purchases carry a 100% cancellation penalty from two hours after purchase. Check the purchase channel for other sellers and ticket types.
