Korea Halloween theme parks 2026: Everland and Lotte World dates, extra fees and age limits

For an autumn 2026 theme-park visit, compare dates, transport and each experience’s entry conditions first. Everland’s outdoor Blood City Zero differs from Lotte World’s Junji Ito collaboration. Lotte World includes both indoor Adventure and outdoor Magic Island; its horror programme is not entirely indoors. The dates below describe the announced season, while daily shows, closures and separately charged experiences need their own checks.

Everland: Blood City Zero, outdoors, missions, free

Everland's autumn festival runs from 12 September to 22 November, and its centrepiece is the tenth year of Blood City, rebuilt this season as Blood City Zero. The format has changed: instead of walking through a zombie town, visitors take on missions across five zones — Hell Gate, the Uncontrollable Laboratory, the Circus of Madness, the Bloody Schoolyard and the Platform of Destruction — in an immersive show directed by Lee Seok-hoon, the film director behind The Pirates and Confidential Assignment 2. It opens at 16:00 and runs to 21:00 every day, and it is free for anyone with a park ticket; the park's own page says so in as many words. The ATEEZ member San is this year's face of it, appearing as a zombie idol on a touch-activated 3D screen at the entrance. The daytime side of the same festival is gentler: the Smiley Pumpkin Parade runs on the parade route and Carnival Plaza from 11 September to 22 November, and the walking safari, Wild Savanna Expedition, is open through November for park ticket holders. Everland's admission price depends on the date and the product, so this guide does not quote it; check the official calendar and read the Everland guide for the shuttle, the pandas and the queue strategy.

Lotte World: Junji Ito, a viral parade, and a ride with an age limit

Lotte World’s autumn season runs 12 September–15 November. Gwidam costs ₩10,000 and Mado Sindang ₩8,000, separately from admission; both are for ages 13–64. Official instructions specify online purchase only, with no on-site sales. Both list 11:30–20:30 with breaks at 13:00–14:00 and 17:00–18:00: check your slot, identification, health and clothing restrictions. Recheck announced show times—Dark Fantasy Festival at 20:20 and Dracula’s Love at 17:00 on the Garden Stage—against the day’s programme. Junji Ito packages are sold 19 September–15 November; merchandise and included experiences depend on the selected product.

How to choose, and when to go

Consider Everland for outdoor horror missions or Lotte World for an itinerary centred on indoor shows. Magic Island is outdoors, however, and age, height and extra-charge rules differ by experience. Lotte World’s standard adult comprehensive ticket is ₩55,000 After 4 versus ₩67,000 for a day pass; compare the total after date-specific discounts and experience supplements. 31 October is a Saturday, but there is no evidence here guaranteeing the busiest weekend or shorter weekday queues. Choose one park around your show times and return transport rather than fitting both into a day.

The evening, in order

What to do from four o'clock, whichever park you choose.

1. Choose your entry time first — Lotte World's Gwidam and Mado Shindang operate separately from 11:30 with breaks. After 4 is an admission period starting at 16:00, not the start of every programme. Check admission and the show schedule for your actual date first.
2. Everland’s Blood City Zero — check the actual queue and entry cutoff, then read the Hell Gate briefing before the five mission zones. Opening time does not guarantee a short wait.
3. Everland’s entrance 3D screen — An interactive display featuring ATEEZ’s San as a zombie idol. Keep queues and entry routes clear when taking pictures.
4. Everland: Smiley Pumpkin Parade (스마일리 펌킨 퍼레이드) — the daytime parade on the parade route and Carnival Plaza; check the day's time on the official app.
5. Lotte World’s Dracula’s Love — a rock musical on the first-floor Garden Stage, announced for 17:00. Check the day’s schedule and viewing-area instructions; a seat is not guaranteed.
6. Fantasy Dream: Strange Nightmare — the official detail page checked on 14 October lists 18:00–19:50, age 13+, height 110cm+ and no Magic Pass. It also carries a scheduled-closure notice, so confirm operation on your visit date. Do not rely on the older 20:50 closing announcement. The 13–64 age limit belongs to the separately charged Gwidam and Mado Sindang experiences.
7. Lotte World’s World of Light — An evening-show option; check its time and viewing location in the day’s programme. If combining it with the parade, plan the route between the two.
8. Lotte World’s Dark Fantasy Festival — Announced for 20:20. Do not assume it runs at that time every day; check the official programme and viewing-area instructions for your visit.
9. Lotte World: the Junji Ito package — sold 19 September–15 November; a pass with a random ticket card or acrylic stand, or a school-uniform rental for the photographs.
10. Getting home — plan Lotte World around Jamsil Station on Lines 2/8 and Everland around your specific bus or shuttle stop. Check the last departure and boarding point before the show ends. Travel from anywhere in Seoul is not guaranteed to take one hour.

Dates, hours, prices

Choose your shows and experiences first, then compare admission, supplements and return transport together. An after-four ticket is not the best option for every visit. Check your chosen date’s programme and ride restrictions before buying.
